Anthony Gordon is co-founder and partner at AVAIO Digital, where he brings over 30 years of experience to managing infrastructure investment and development. At AVAIO, Tony oversees investment and strategy activities across the firm – and also leads AVAIO’s new business pipeline. Additionally, he leads ADP’s behind-the-meter energy strategy and platform expansion efforts.
Prior to founding AVAIO, Tony spent 14 years at Och-Ziff Capital Management where he was co-founder of the energy private equity business and led investments in the power, power fuels, midstream and upstream sectors as well as several carbon-reduction focused businesses. Prior to joining Och-Ziff, Tony was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. While at Goldman, Tony co-founded both their North American and European power and natural gas investment businesses. He also is responsible for the creation of several businesses throughout North America and Europe (Constellation, Orion, Millennium Offshore, European Power Source).
Education: Tony holds a B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from Yale University.
