“The City of Pittsburg and PPC have a long history of supporting innovative industrial uses, and we see these developments as the core of our workforce and economic development initiatives. The City and PPC are excited about the opportunity to continue to work with ADP to bring this data center online”
City of Pittsburg Mayor, Juan Antonio Banales
“The AVAIO data center represents a major investment in our local economy—bringing high-quality jobs, new infrastructure, and long-term revenue that helps support essential City services. Beyond the immediate construction activity, projects like AVAIO’s strengthen Pittsburg’s role in the region’s digital economy and signal that our city is open for innovative, forward-looking businesses.”
Director of Community and Economic Development, Jordan Davis

AVAIO’s Project Perseus offers the largest increment of available data center power in Northern California, delivering first occupancy in Q3 2027 at a 76-acre campus that’s strategically positioned in the East Bay, 35 miles from San Francisco and less than 50 miles from Silicon Valley.

  • Interconnection agreement is finalized for a 99 MW connection energized Q3 2027, delivered via Pittsburg Power Company and priced competitively with power in Silicon Valley
  • An immediately adjacent transmission corridor includes seven 230 kV lines with confirmed excess capacity, providing the potential to add additional multiple 100’s of MW capacity to the campus
  • Perseus is located in an area of CA where over 90% of the grid power is from zero carbon sources
  • A supportive City Council unanimously approved and adopted the Specific Plan for the campus, and local utility Delta Diablo is providing 100% of the campus’ water needs using recycled wastewater. With fiber-rich connectivity and municipal incentives, Project Perseus delivers a compelling solution for AI and cloud-driven deployments in one of the nation’s most supply-constrained markets. Turnkey, build-to-suit, and powered shell options are available.
