Kevin has over seventeen years of experience as both an investor and as an advisor. Before joining AVAIO, Mr. Murphy was an investment professional with Och-Ziff Capital Management where he focused on middle market energy and water infrastructure investments in North America. Prior to joining Och-Ziff Mr. Murphy was an analyst in Goldman Sach’s Principal Investment Area from 2010 to 2012 where he focused on energy and industrial sector investments across the capital structure. From 2008-2010 Mr. Murphy was an analyst at Credit Suisse in their leveraged finance origination and restructuring group.
Mr. Murphy’s experience includes growth equity, structured equity, and credit investing in energy infrastructure and water and has executed over 15 transactions across various verticals throughout his career.
At AVAIO Kevin helps to lead the AVAIO Digital platform and has direct responsibility for structuring joint ventures, executing land acquisitions, and overseeing project development.
Education: Kevin holds a B.S.E. in electrical engineering and a B.S. in economics from Duke University
