Melody Neil is the Founding Partner and Principal of Neil Strategic, bringing more than 15 years of experience in federal and state government affairs and client advocacy. She has successfully represented and provided strategic counsel to Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, and specialized industry trade groups, helping clients achieve impactful legislative and regulatory outcomes.
Prior to founding Neil Strategic, Mrs. Neil established and led the government affairs department for Digital Reality, a global data center real estate investment trust (REIT).
Earlier in her career, she served more than six years on the U.S. House Appropriations Committee as a professional staff member for both Democratic and Republican Chairmen and Ranking Members.
Mrs. Neil began her public service career as Deputy Press Secretary for former U.S. Congresswoman Karen L. Thurman, where she managed media relations, press conferences, and communications strategy.
Education: Mrs. Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in International Business from Georgetown University.
